A cool old knife, and what a great tang stamp!

Here's another one, a "loom fixer". Stamp is different, a sunburst. Can't find anything on the company. Price's guide only says. the name and "Germany",no dates. Can't say which stamp is earlier.

J.O', I looked in Goins and Levine with no success. I do not have a good reference book on German knives, but Herb does.
I was just looking through it at his house on Sunday.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Re: The Other Randall
J.O., I found a tang stamp that looks very similar to the one on the first knife in your pictures, but Carter indicates that it belongs to Wester & Butz, and I don't see any mention of Randall. Maybe Randall took over that mark later on?Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 10:49 pm Here's an old Pearl Charles K. Re: The Other Randall
Thanks Herb. Still a mystery. All three blades are stamped, "Chas. K. Randall" on the mark side and have the anchor/arrow on the pile side. They must have been affiliated or the logo is some standard insignia l
kind of like a skull and bones for lack of a better example. ???? Did you see my other German stamp in Q and A?
