Your knife is real. It was not expensive since most knives from there are just not expensive knives. Labor is much cheaper in Spain than here and they make many panel etched knives for the tourist trade. It is likely not very old, they've been making the same knives for a long time. Probably a tourist item from the 1970s-80s. If the knife were a working man's knife it would not have been etched like they do for tourist knives.
