Came across an interesting item for wood burners on YouTube. A small device placed beside your work the captures the smoke and filters it. Small box with exhaust fan, and carbon filter pad. Made specifically for pyrography. Might be helpful in your hobby.

Thank you Oscar for thinking about me but I've discovered (the hard way) that if I'm creating a lot of smoke with the soft woods that I using, my iron is too hot. Also I use a studio easel so there would be nowhere to put it. I hope you look at all my work and enjoy them.

You do awesome work ! I’m thinking about trying it but I’m not artistic. Can’t draw a straight line. I’m very impressed by the pyrography you create.

It took me 5 days but here is the newest ship in the wall display fleet.
I had to simplify a few details like all that ornate wood work on the stern.
I'm thinking of putting some of my old wooden handle knives around the ships on the wall.
