Wow, 1 day and gone like last Winter's snow.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Thanks for all the info in this from everyone, I was able to get one, pricing was amazing, cheapest I've paid for a GEC. Thanks AAPK for helping out the new guy!

Re: 2023 AAPK Knife
Thank you Bryan, I just got my 2023 AAPK Knife in the mail. It is a beautiful knife and I love the way it
feels in your hand. I'm going to carry it a couple of times just to show it off, then it gets mounted with
the other club knives.

Re: 2023 AAPK Knife
USPS tracking said it would be here Monday the 17th by 9pm. The mail carrier left in the box before noon today!
The 2023 knife is a beauty! This pattern would make a great EDC if a feller needed to use it. This one will be like the other AAPK knives of the past, having to live its' life in a 1/5/8" X 4 3/4" paper tube most of its' days.
Opening one from a few years ago is like Christmas all over again, some of you old fellers understand what I'm saying.
Thanks to Mr. Bryan Sanders for another wonderful knife experience!

Re: 2023 AAPK Knife
It is a beautiful knife for sure. Just an observation, on my knife the blade finish seems to show a lot of micro scratches. Is it that way on the rest of your blades? Not an issue, just wondering if it’s normal. I’ll have to dig out last years AAPK knife and see how that one looks.
Thanks.

Somewhere in the guts of my knife there seems to be a bit of grit. I'm not going to give it the customary bath but let it be. Did add a shot of Quick Release to the joint, the grit may be in the lock? Still a well-made knife.

Re: 2023 AAPK Knife
Hmmm, well it’s not a dealbreaker but it is disappointing. A few of the other GEC knives that I have don't have that finish. I’m not sure why they decided that a blade with bunches on micro scratches was acceptable but I’ll definitely opt not to buy future AAPK knives. As a FYI, last years muskrat knife also had a lot of micro scratches. I assumed GEC quality was of a much higher standard. Maybe my standards are too high.treefarmer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2023 9:09 pmMine is that way also, Jeff.Jeffinn wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2023 8:51 pm It is a beautiful knife for sure. Re: 2023 AAPK Knife
The good news is if you are unhappy with the knife you received, there are quite a few people here that will gladly take it off your hands.Jeffinn wrote: ↑Sun Jul 16, 2023 3:06 amHmmm, well it’s not a dealbreaker but it is disappointing.
