Although these COULD be carried in one's pocket, they would be better carried in a belt pouch.

The Remington, it is a great looking knife in a series of awesome knives you showed.FRJ wrote: ↑Fri May 12, 2023 3:56 pmRidgegrass wrote: ↑Fri May 12, 2023 1:36 pm This is just opinion but I think all the makers had a variety of patterns from light to heavy.![]()
I agree, lots of variety but I can't remember any pocket knives that you would call flimsy.
Here are some workingman's knives.

Here’s a real belt and suspenders knife - 5 inches long, weighs a ton! Says it’s a Fox, made in Italy. I’m not so sure it’s not a fake though. Youngest son picked it up cheap at a flea market and gifted it to me. It was used but not much - I’m guessing the original owner got tired of having to pull his pant up!

Haven't used it enought to make a judgement. It's sharp but that's about all I can say. It has a pocket clip but really needs to be carried in a belt sheath IMHO. I already carry a Leatherman PST often. Guess I'd need to get Batman's utility belt if I want more than one sheath!

Re: Heavy built pocket knives
Thank you sir! That knife sit in a showcase for over a year at a knife store I visit. I would look at it and wish for over a year. One day my wife said, you haven't bought a knife in a while, let's go look at some. Might have been fathers day or my birthday, I cant remember. But I went straight to that knife. And we bought it. I'm really surprised that it was still there. It was kinda expensive for me. I'm sure glad to be its care taker for a while. Your knife looks great and probably is a workhorse! Thanks for the nice comments! Have a good one!!GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 12:19 amThat is a beautiful knife! Can't leave out the Buck 112. That's a little bruiser! This one goes way back and has had quite a bit of use. I don't think I'm going to wear it out. J.O'.
