Beautiful knife. Love the sexy curves and the wood, the blade, it all looks great.

Rose Craft just in. Family reunion gift fodder for the 10-12 year olds. Good solid piece, no wobble, tight, smooth, bright orange, run up is great. Also like the handy little soda can insulator.

That looks like it would be a great whittling/carving knife. I like the color on it.Ivoryman wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2023 1:11 amSweet looking KK lock back Marco. Love the bare head, lock back, spear. Thanks for the compliment, Iman, you know I appreciate them!
That's a lovely orange Rose Craft you posted, bud, I'm sure you know by now it was voted Best Imported Knife at the 2023 Blade Show so it's become an overnight hit. I'll be receiving their "Zambezi" model this week if all goes well, and I'm hoping I'll like it, since I've had 2nd thoughts since buying it. I'll post pictures when it arrives!

No I didn't know that and to me it matters not. Besides, who does the voting for those things anyway? Not a fan of whoever or whatever subjectively decides to crown one the "best" of any category really. And I don't read reviews from them either. I hope you like yours, I got one to check them out and have some give-a-way fodder for the youngsters at the upcoming family reunion in Alberta, Canada. Figured the bright orange and nasty looking blade would appeal to the youngsters tactical cool bents. We'll see, but thanks for the compliment and I hope you like yours. I find this one a bit too much like a Rough Rider for my liking. And too large and heavy for pocket carry. But kids will probably like it. Thanks again and let us see what you bought from them when it comes.Madmarco wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2023 8:50 pm Thanks for the compliment, Iman, you know I appreciate them!![]()

Nice haul .that’s my favorite place to fish .The shallow end of the bay .picked up this N.Y. Hammer brand for less than a trip threw the drive threw at McDonald’s.0[mattachment=2]image.jpg[/attachment]treefarmer wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 3:35 pm Nothing to be too excited about, got several from the shallow end of the bay:005.JPG
A small Geo. Schrade wire frame, a Queen#51-1976 vintage with half stops, a small Ranger 3 blade, 3 spring stockman, unused, a larger Ranger Jack that would make a great EDC for a youngster, an old Kutmaster Barlow and a decent Schrade Walden #136 with a shackle.![]()
Sad part is, the shipping is usually more than the cost of the knife.![]()

Any of you guys ever have one of those deals that goes so smoothly and problem free that you think something must be wrong but there isn't, and when you finally have the knife in your hands it's much nicer than you'd imagined it would be? This is one of those!

Thanks, Rev, I fell in love with the shape of the knife and once I had it, it proved to be everything I'd hoped for.
I dig the decoration on the covers too.

I like the design on the handles or is that an inlay? They both look like great knives.

Thanks, Mark, they're designed onto the G-10 not inlayed, and you're correct they are great gentleman's knives.

The Rosecraft really is a beautiful knife, Iman, but I haven’t bought one yet. I think I read somewhere that they’ll have a production facility in the U.S. one day. I’m not against being made overseas (I own several RR’s), but I’d just rather wait. Want them to do well, though, since it was started by a couple of nice former employees of SMKW.
Nice find on the Hammer, Thomas!
Jerry, that’s a beautiful patriotic flipper!
I agree with everyone else, Marco. The design on the handle is very cool! Like the way the bolsters were done, too! Something unique!

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Thanks very much, Tim, it seems we've all been somewhat smitten by those covers and bolsters on my new knives, and wouldn't you know it, those features are what attracted me to the knives originally!
That would really be something if RoseCraft knives started making their knives in a US factory, their sales would boom I'm sure. I have their "Zambesi" model just cleared Customs and on the way, I'll show it when it arrives.
