In 2010, this was considered the "Second Release" of Tuna Valley knives by Perry Miller. He passed away not long after, and so this was the final release under his ownership. GEC made 4 blade on the cigar pattern.

Continuing on from my last post, when Mr. Miller passed away, the Daniels family acquired the rights to make the Tuna Valley knives, continuing on Perry's vision of low quantity, high quality releases. They also purchased all the unsold inventory from the previous 2010 release. In order to differentiate their sales of these knives from the ones sold by Perry, they had the bolsters modified. In 2012 these knives were re-released for sale.

Thanks for the historic info, Carl. I have one of the re-releases, I think it's stamped something like Cyclops Knife Works.

Yep, all the knives have "Cyclops Steel Works" stamped on one of the blades. I believe a majority of steel that GEC was using for knife blades at that time came from them.

Gorgeous pack of knives Rookie. Especially love the dyed stag on those trappers. Beautiful. Thanks for showing, never seen those. Did
GEC make those too?
