I'm totally stoked about it!
Oh Cool!jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 11:28 am Tom, here's what to look forward to, Re: Canadian License Plates.
Wow! 70 years & you have never seen one over there. They must be extreamly, extreamly rare!Madmarco wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 6:25 pm Thanks, Jerry, the best I could have done was tell Tom there are 13 provinces to collect!![]()
That's a shame they're so expensive,Tom, but unfortunately the high prices coincide with what they REALLY cost when you register your car and receive your plates! It stands to reason the "Bears" would be costly,
they are extremely rare, in fact, I've never even seen one in the flesh, so to speak, and I've lived here for 70 years! Perhaps someone will "bomb" you one, Tom, hint hint!

Sweet! Good deal!Madmarco wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 10:46 pm The "Bears" are so expensive, Tom, cuz they're for the most northerly provinces where it's REALLY cold and much less populated, so the only opportunity one would have to see one would be if they were up north visiting or on business. Of course there's the possibility of someone from up north coming down to one of the cities for whatever reason, but as I said, in all my time here that hasn't happened to me where I've seen one.
They're super-cool plates, and I'll keep an eye out for you for a "Bear" at a reasonable price!

Jeff bombed Starvation Plantation with a big ol' Schrade 858 covered with stabilized, toasted Maple burl wood.![]()
It's too purty to sharpen and put in my pocket!

Thank you, Jeff.![]()
In Jeff's note that accompanied the bomb he said he hoped things were going well. I told him I had been blessed twice today, earlier I figured out the problem with the tractor and then received this wonderful knife.
