Nice picture, O.C. I have paid more attention to MLB this year after 2 or 3 years away. I have a few teams that I follow more than others, but try to keep up with all. I have been noticing the Twins off to a nice start.OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 12:23 pm I got to attend 2 Twins games over the weekend with friends vs the Cubs. Twins won 11-1 and 16-3, sorry Cubs fans your pitching isn't so good.

You got that right. They did pretty good in April but when May reared it's ugly head, they fell through their anal orifice.OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 12:23 pm I got to attend 2 Twins games over the weekend with friends vs the Cubs. I had not been to a MLB game since 2017. $12.99 for a 16 oz can of Corona at Target Field now, ouch.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 2:59 pmYou got that right. You picked the right two games to attend because the Cubs won Friday's game 6-2. Just so you don't think they're totally pathetic.![]()
You are absolutely correct, Ken!Mumbleypeg wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 4:52 am Something about the jalapeños keeps calling to me ………..

The bottom doesn't appear to be dropping out anytime soon.Mumbleypeg wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 3:20 pm I’ve made it to a couple of Ranger’s games this year and enjoying their early success, while holding my breath waiting for the bottom to fall out.

We were at that game. What a party! With Seager, Garver and Duran back from the IL now and adding to what they’ve had to date, they’re scary good. So far they’re dominating in defense and pitching too, especially their starters. deGrom is expected back within the next week or two, and so far they haven’t missed him! If/when he returns true to form, a pretty good starting pitcher is going to the bullpen.Waukonda wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 5:03 pmThe bottom doesn't appear to be dropping out anytime soon.Mumbleypeg wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 3:20 pm I’ve made it to a couple of Ranger’s games this year and enjoying their early success, while holding my breath waiting for the bottom to fall out.

They are still in 1st place, and after that 16 run game yesterday, I checked team stats just out of curiousity. They are dominating (1st or 2nd) in nearly every offensive category. It has been an exciting season all around, imo.
He is special. With Sunday’s win he’s now in sole possession of 10th place all-time in wins by an MLB manager. Behind him on the list are Walter Alston, Leo Durocher, and Casey Stengel. All three of them are in the MLB Hall of Fame.
How bout those Reds? Huge comeback win last night, and hotshot rookies comin' up, exciting times at Great American!fergusontd wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 4:04 pmThe Reds will win it all in 2023!! ftdSmartSelect_20230214-110300_Chrome.jpg
