This is a fixed blade kit knife from Coldland Co. of Canada. Full tang Damascus steel, brass bolster. It didn't come with any scales so I made the handle out of Ironwood.

Thanks, Tom!
The MAM Filmam is a neat little friction folder, made in Portugal, and pretty good for only.$6.

Loved surfing through this thread. Sooooooooooo many cool pieces with beautiful wood. Inspired me to get a few out to take a pic or two and check oil and lube. Wood is such a cool material.

Thanks tvic, left this one out because it had to be dug out. Glad you like, thanks again.
Ridgegrass, love that knife, the hawkbill isn't as huge as most and the Ebony looks great. How about the age? Great piece, great shot.
87 Beavertail PPP from the OKCA show in April. I love these knives. English Jack. A liiiiiiiiiiitttle big in the pockets of the cargo shorts, but for using it's perfect.

I-man: Hard to say on the age. The name has been around since 1840 and according to BL they're still around. I don't think it's real old. I don't know when ebony was stopped. It's still available but the price is probably prohibitive for commercial knife applications . I've been carrying the little half hawk. The curved blade gives plenty of purchase. J.O'.
