Based on my Labs’ capabilities, I’m guessing Rueger could jump that fence. He just doesn’t know it!

Ken, he does go bounding full speed across the patio and takes a flying leap off the low brick wall (2 ft tall, maybe?) and leaps about 6 feet out into the yard. Looks like Superdog. He just turned 4 months old, so he's still figuring out what he is capable of.

We don't have our own dog. This is "Violet" our 4 month old Labra-doodle "grand dog". She's a gentle, very smart, and energetic companion, perfect for her two pals who are 8 and 6. J.O'.

Moki and Scout sure do hang out together a lot. Both being Golden’s may have something to do with it. They don’t play together a lot, because Scout gets too excited and puts some pretty hard core moves on him and he still isn’t big enough for that kind of play. Moki’s primary playmate is Bristol, not in these photos.
For some reason Moki’s paws and legs seem very large for his frame. He is either going to be a big boy or he might just grow up with big legs and paws. We have met his father and mother and they aren’t large Goldens so it’s going to be interesting.

Unfortunately, the little West Highland Terrier puppy we were about to acquire developed some form of gastroenteritis and despite all efforts to the contrary, died last evening under the care of the breeder’s veterinarian.

She was about six weeks old.

We are saddened, as we already loved her.

She was to be called, Maggie.

My condolences for your loss of Maggie, she looked to be as sweet as a little dog could be. I have always been very attached to my dogs and there is always a huge feeling of pain when I have lost one. It never is easy. My commiserations for your losing her.

It’s been an education about Golden Retrievers watching Moki grow up. Here is a photo of how his coat is coming in. Don’t know how well you can see it, because it’s hard to get a good photo of it, but his coat on top has almost a herringbone pattern to it as it comes in. He is growing a main and the famous back leg hair. The hair on his tail is starting to curl around as well. I never thought about how a Golden’s coat grows over time. Very interesting patterns.

Great pics Gents! Thanks for sharing.

Elsa and floribunda white roses. Dog is a true sweetheart. Gentle, kind, loving and tough. Couldn't get best pics. It is what it is as you all know when taking critter pics.

Amy's expression looks exceptionally thoughtful. My imagination perhaps, but I do think I see an uncommon depth in her eyes.

Nice Tom, she looks like a gentle soul.

Here are a few shots of Moki. He has grown a lot since we got him. Weighs close to 40 lbs, he was only 9 pounds when we got him. It’s fun watching him grow out his fur and looking more and more like a Golden Retriever. Now we have to decide if he will be neutered or not. I think he is such a great dog that it would be a shame not to pass his genes along but I know what trouble it is to have one that is not neutered. Tough choice.
