My new acquisition
I got these from the Dollar Tree. Yeah...I know...from the Dollar Tree. Probably the worst knife I can pick up. But it was staring at me and I had to get it. D*mn impulse buying.
I'll let you know how it performs.

Re: My new acquisition
Well...after messing with the one that was out of the package, the knife and scissors didn't want to go back in. I couldn't even force them back in. I have no idea how the factory got it packaged. I tried different combinations to close it all by pulling out the scissors, flat screwdriver, knife and bottle opener and trying to close it that way. But no combination helped. The knife and scissors just would not go back in! So I threw it out.
I opened the one in the picture and tried it out and it seems to open and close just fine. The knife is razor freakin' sharp, I do know that.
So the lesson is...if you see a knife at Dollar Tree, better pass it up. I bought two of them in case one broke or didn't work right. And...I was correct.

Well, it sure look like it'll be useful, MG, and don't feel too badly about being impulsive, I have a room full of "impulsive" knives!

Hang a treble hook off the ring, might be good for bass or pike

Re: My new acquisition
Don't feel bad MG, most of my impulse buys cost me a lot more than $1!
Most of them wouldn't even have made fishing lures, though several could be used for weights!

Yeah, I can use that one I have left for the "There's no way I would use one of my good knives on that!" type of job.
