Dog: The smaller one looks European with the "Rostfrei" "R" for stainless. The cigar is intriguing. Looks like a C wrapped around an M or the other way around. I'm looking at possible Meriden, or Mills, or Morris Cutleries. That looks like a nice stamp and a quality, older knife. Hope someone recognizes it. Please let us know. That's my kind of knife.! ::tu:: O'.

The top photo looks like a tool kit handle knife with the Magnetic Cutlery monogram stamp. Possibly made by Union Cutlery Co.
Look inside the well at the opposite end of the blade. You might see a pin to hook the tool from the kit. Next to the pin is a block to prevent the tool from closing into the handle.

Agree on the "toolkit" look. Magnetic was a German import made by Peres. Gone by 1932ish. I have a German Bonsa kit that looks like it. ?? J.O'.

Thanks R.G. and Barry ::handshake:: The single blade larger knife has a very solid feel to it, it "feels" like a quality knife very tight blade. I will look inside to see if it has a pin to hook another blade (I have several kits like from Japan). The "R" stamp looks the same on this stockman that I have had for a while. That same "Rostfrei" "R" for stainless... and no other markings. ::hmm:: The stockman has a "quality" feel to it... similar to other knives I have owned from Germany, so maybe the "R" on both of them is "Rostfrei" "R" for stainless... ::hmm::

Here are a few photos of a KA-BAR made Knife Fork & Spoon set with the Magnetic Cutlery monogram stamp.
Note the fork has the KA-BAR Pat. Nov. 5th 1907 stamp on back.
I cant say I've ever seen a KA-BAR tool kit, so maybe the OP knife is German or American?
Along side is a Napanoch tool kit handle. We know Napanoch made tool kits for Ullery. So the OP knife might have been made by Napanoch?
We do know Napanoch did plenty of contract work.
Without some documentation all we can do is guess?

Looks like that solves the stamp question. Levine says MC were made in Germany by D. Peres.?? ::tu:: J.O'.

May I please jump in here to offer another mystery? I was hoping to find a single thread for knife ID but there seems to be a new thread per query...

Anyways, this one seems current and active so I thought it might work.

I came across a rather large multi tool/camp knife with an unfamiliar marking, UK within a diamond tang stamp... Anyone have any idea?

TIA

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it may be an Asian or eastern European copy of something else. "U.K." is Utica Knife but that doesn't look like an American knife and I've never seen that stamp on any Utica. Some pics of the blades open might help. Can you get a read on what's stamped under the UK diamond ? J.O'.

It reminds me of those big Japanese multi tool/camp knives.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

You're going to look awfully silly with that knife sticking out of your @#$. -Clint Eastwood, High Plains Drifter

Thanks for your input guys. I will try to get better pics of it this weekend. I haven't taken a very very close look at what's stamped underneath yet, but so far I'm not able to make it out.
I've been going down the list of possible UKs (Utica, Union, Ulster etc) but haven't yet seen anything quite like this stamp.

Hope you all enjoy your weekend! Don't forget to take a moment or several to honor our fallen Brothers and Sisters.
