Totin' a Real Shepherd Knife for Finally Friday to round out my Sheffield week. 4 1/4" closed, excellent snap and sweet old jigged bone scales in my opinion. This knife is only tang stamped "Sheffield England."
John I'm not sure. It still has a high carbon blade and real Bexoid covers. My speculation is 40-60 time frame. For me Sheffield is harder than American cutlery to put a date on. I'm reading and learning a little.1967redrider wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 2:38 pm David, how old do you think that William Rodgers is? Very interesting with the bird's-eye pin and (composit?) scales.
