Case 6235 Swell-End Jack Treated To Some Popcorn

Post by herbva »

This old dog came to me looking for some help. The rough black composite scales it came with were well beyond "nicely pocket worn", and the word "CASE" was actually worn off the shield. But, I decided to give it a shot, and I found some smallish "popcorn" stag pieces in my stash that I thought might do the trick. (I also decided it didn't need a shield any more.) :D

There you go again, buddy, turning garbage into gold!
That really is lovely stag, Herb, and as usual your work is flawless.
If you're selling it you can be sure it will sell quickly!

Another awesome job, Herb. ::tu:: Make sure you show it to me on Saturday, looks like it needs some coon-fingering. 😉

That looks good Herb. I like the thicker stag on that pattern since it is a good user pattern, and the thicker stag with the popcorn will give someone a much better grip than the original handles.

Great save! ::tu::
