Re: Knife Photography
I picked that up about 35 years ago. Carried it almost every day without fail for decades. Then I got on AAPK and saw all this pretty eye candy and switched directions. Now this one doesn't get much love or attention but I still take it with me on trips and stuff when I might need the scissors for a beard trim, or a toothpick or bottle opener. The nail file has lost a lot of it's original coarse abrasive, but other than that, everything still functions well. Great little package for sure, just prefer some nice bone or micarta or stag these days to black plastic. Good little knives/tool kits.
jtx, that is some great bone. Great shape of the knife overall. Great era. Love those old Case whittlers.

Thank you Ivoryman and doglegg. That knife was a gift from my son a couple of years ago and it is one of my favorites.

Re: Knife Photography
Nice ones there, Jtx and Iman!
I thought this Rough Rider Route 66 Knife was cool- handles are made to look like tire treads! I found this at a country store out in the sticks when the wife and I were exploring. Don’t know if they’re making it anymore. It’s not on the SMKW website.
