Thanks for the mention doglegg, GSPTD. And by the way you have impeccable taste my friends. The Case is from Qs incredible Mini T 07 collection and the Schrade from Gunstock Jack's Barry Johnson. Love them both dearly. Real sweeties. Thanks again.

I have a hard time keeping up with y'all. Some truly incredible carries today!

I started with this...
26 April 2023 Carry.jpg
The 3318 and the Victorinox Secretary rotated out, and these guys rotated in...
26 April 2023 Carry Additions.jpg
Finally, the 72 and the RR2336 together.

Awesome carries, GSP, Ivory, Dan and QS. ::tu:: ::tu::

Oak (reclaimed/Live/Charter???) for Three Blade Thursday, from a German maker pretending to be British. This knife is less than 100 years younger than our great country (they were in business 1866-1867 according to Goins). 🇺🇸 Qualifies as a Throwback Thursday as well. ::nod::

All 3 blades stamped Wade Bros. Celebrated Cutlery.

Leatherman Rebar and a D2 Kobalt folder.

Other than being ridiculously heavy, the Kobalt has impressed me for a $25 Lowe's knife--sharp out of the box, smooth action, good hardening and heat treat.

Thank you, I-Man and John! ::handshake:: Garry, the Henckels is a real looker; is that yellow bone? John, it looks like someone really loved that Wade Bros! Zed, some beautiful covers on that sowbelly! Cody, the Rebar is a great tool, and a worthy successor to the PST. Finally, David, that Stockman is superb; I like the acorn shield!

Going with this hawg for Finally Friday, Beechwood according to the ad, 1/2 stop, heavy and snaps like a mule kicking. Not bad for 110+ years old.

Good morning everyone. I have to head out of town this morning to pick up new bifocals. I usually tote the yellow bone Boker or my blue swirl Hen and Rooster. Thought the big Buck Creek needed some tote time through the weekend. Stay safe everyone and have a good weekend.

I did some messing around with the inflation calculator. In 1913, 52 cents was equivalent to $16.02. Even calculated for inflation, there is no way you'll be buying a US-made knife made like that today--I think all the US-made ones at that price are usually quite cheaply made lightweight lockbacks.

Following the lead of Jerry D, I promptly picked up this new issue. It is spending the day with me.
