Help in identification

Post by UJB »

Hello,
I'm new to the forum. I recently inherited some pocket knives that my brother collected. One of the more interesting ones is an H.Boker knife in the shape of a guitar or ukulele that appears to be covered in tortoise shell. I'd like to know if anyone can tell something about it.
Thanks in advance.
John

Very cool and unique, first one I have seen. 😎👍
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

It's a cool piece. What is it's length, closed? Welcome to AAPK. J.O'.

Welcome to AAPK. Very unusual and interesting knife. Sorry I can’t tell you anything about it myself, but recommend you post it here in the Böker subforum https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... m.php?f=60. It’s more likely to be seen there by Böker collectors who might know about it, including AAPK member “rangerbluedog” who is a Böker collector and has authored a book about them. ::tu::

Recommend you include some clear in-focus pictures of all stamps or markings on the knife, and its closed length. Those may help identify it.

::welcome:: to AAPK, John! ::handshake::
I'm a fan of Boker knives, but only to the extent of buying and accumulating them for my collection, I'm sorely lacking on any info regarding specs or dates, etc., but someone who does know such details will eventually see your post and hopefully provide some info for you.
It's a very cool knife and a model I've not seen prior to now.
Please be sure to show us what else you inherited!
