Victorinox Display Piece

Post by deo-pa »

This working electric store display (~30” tall) sold at auction yesterday in Boston. Starting bid was $175 and it sold for $500.

That's cool! I think I saw a video some time back of a guy that fixed a moving display like that.

I'd love to have one to display, but I think it would end up going too well next to my divorce papers... ::facepalm::

Here is what it looks like in action : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SE8r_afCn0

I was not tempted to bid. First of all it’s a bit of a monstrosity and I think it would get old fast. Second, I don’t know what those two bands are on the handle. I think it is missing the plastic handle cover with the typical SAK color and logo.

Very cool. There have been a few variations of that "window display",

I found this one that sold in 2019.

Very nice! There is always a Victorinox (or Wenger) that I've never seen before show up.
