Thanks to all for the compliments on the knife, but especially for the well wishes. Bruce

There were lots of great looking old Case knives at the OKCA show. Couldn't resist a few of them either. Addictive. Here's a '65-69 6207 Mini T that came from fellow blade brother Q, then a '40-64 62003 Barlow, a 6318HP Stockman, and a 6235 1/2 Jack from the OKCA show this past weekend in Eugene, Or.

Big fan of a nice old CASE jack knife myself. Only carry CASE and 90 percent of the time, it's jack I carry.

Hey Cudgee. Too each their own and I respect that but my only love for knives is CASE.
All Dad and I collected so only brand in my collection.
Love old school personally. Pre 1980 ' only but XX through 80' is my personal sweet spot. Carry a couple XX era jacks daily.
Take care friend. Jerry.

I-Man, I don't know how you do it, but you've been having great luck finding excellent old Cases lately!

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Thanks Dan, some of them sort of found me at the OKCA show. There were many more to be had too. Great show with tons of old vintage beauties from Case and the other old makers. And these just arrived, a treat to get a shot at a few more of Q's fabulous Mini T and red bone collection. Thanks again and many thanks and shout outs to blade brother Q for the fabulous red bone and brown bone recently.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
A recent trip to the post office produced this pocket knife. It is one out of a trio of pocket knives that John, aka 1967redrider sent to me. Again, THANK YOU, John.
This pocket knife is my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It is also the latest example to be added to my collection. It is a CASE XX, two blades, two tang stamps, 3 1/4" closed (not including the bail), one spring, all metal, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "CASEXX (over) +++++SS+++++ (over) USA" The secondary blade front tang stamp says "M279 (over) R" The main blade has a good opening and closing snap. The secondary blade also has a good opening and closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. It needed NO cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Picked up a few Case Mini Ts last week and just got around to noticing the strange stamp and run up on this one from 1974. It has 12 dots because it's been double stamped. And the run up is pretty bad. Makes me wonder what's up? Looks like the blade was not made for this frame to me, both main and pen are not even close to fitting up against the spring. Any Case aficionados have a comment? Never seen one like it but a lot of Case people out there who might read this and know much more than I and have seen many more Case knives than me. Would be curious what they would say about one like this. Thanks for looking and any comments.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Since this is my first post after introducing myself, and I've been working on my Case knives today, I'll just post a bunch of them.
The top picture shows two large fins and a FINN 3. I don't think the top and bottom ones have ever been sharpened. The top one arrived in the Gerber case shown above the knives.
The bottom picture shows an unused 1965-69 Razor, then a 1920-40 Grand Daddy, a 1930's Camillus then a 1977 Grand Daddy. The 1920-40 Case just arrived today and has a badly-repaired cracked scale. I've cleaned and oiled it, and re-restored the scale as much as I'm going to. Looking forward to sharpening it tonight. The 1977 was a mess when I got it. I sanded the blade down to the pitting, then gave it a mirror-edge sharpening.
The large FINN and Grand Daddy are my favorite Case knife designs.
(I cannot post images - guess I'm too new, so here are the url's)
