2023 Oregon Knife Collectors Association Knife Show
Anybody out there going to the OKCA show in Eugene, OR this weekend? Hope so, hope to see you there. Opens at 8:00 am. Saturday and Sunday and I think it closes at 5:00pm Sat, 4:00pm Sun. Stop by and see Dale (Orvet) at his table, and Barry of Gunstock Jacks knife, and of course Charlie Compagna of Waynorth Cutlery and the Lick Creeks and TC Barlow SFOs we love. If you're there you'll see me hanging around Gunstock Jacks table and area and looking forward to seeing Danno and Knowtracks and anyone else from AAPK who stops by. Will be a great show and weekend and hope to see some of you. Pictures forthcoming.

Man alive, what an incredible show.
Great pics, Ivoryman...almost feel like I was there (sure wish I could have been)
I can't help but wonder how a verified knife junkie could possibly leave that show with any money left in the bank or credit cards not totally maxed out
I'd be like a kid in a candy store once I got in the door.

Ahhhh, you know me well and definitely nailed it, wish you were here. You'd be right to wonder about the funds. Spent like a drunken sailor, till my last dollar, but on great deals I'd say. Couldn't look away from all the good deals and possibilities and the lure of dealer priced GECs with no Flipper mark ups. Came home about broke, worn out, all smiles and giddy with a goodly stash of carbon steel and beauty bone. Exhausted, satisfied, grateful and relishing the memories and the newest editions to my pile.

Thanks for the pictures Iman. Clicked on every one of them. The one with prices showing had about a dozen I would have been wanting to buy.

Great pics, Ivoryman! Thanks for posting them. It would appear that there were not as many displays around the outside walls as usual?
I am very sad I could not make it this year.

Re: 2023 Oregon Knife Collectors Association Knife Show
You were definitely missed Dan! Gunstock Jack and Knowstracks were missed as well! I understand Barry (Gunstock Jack), had a mechanical breakdown on the way, or he would have been there.
The last show we had there was in 2019, 4 years ago. I think people were really hungry for a Knife Show. It was one of the busiest shows I think I've seen in 15 years and the best show I have had there in about 15 years of having a table there. Usually I go home broke, but I ended up with a bunch of stuff and more money than I will arrived with! That's a good show in my book! I will try to get some pictures in the next few days and post some knife pictures in here as well as some of the knives that I customized, but I will probably post those in the knife mechanics forum. Now I am still trying to clean up the mess and get things put away so I can work in my shop again. I have to get busy and find some fixed blade knives or make some because I sold out about 2/3 of the fixed blades I had on my table. I think I only have two or three fixed blades left in my store, and part of the reason for that as I left two of them at home! It was pretty crazy but I was able to thin the herd down quite a bit, and that's a good thing!
Thanks for the pictures IM!
I couldn't get away from my table long enough to take many pictures.

Nice job on the pictures. I looked it all over would be neat to be there someday. I only could figure out one person Charlie, I could read his name tag. I have never seen any of these men. Be neat to meet them.

OK, I promised some pics of the knives I got at the 2023 OKCA show last weekend.
I won't write a long description as i tried to make the picture names as descriptive as possible.
I hope you enjoy the pics!

A few more pics...
I love the old rope knife.
Wish I could see a name on it!
It is a solid old rope, in spite of the rough condition.
I feel a project coming on...

These are some of my favorite ones, especially the ones with stamps on the blades!
Thanks for looking.
There are a few I missed, I hope I can update it before long.
