Proper Knife Storage

Any of you all watch Curse of Oak Island on the History Channel? I would put the whole bucket on ebay and call it bobby dazzlers found metal detecting in the money pit 90 foot deep. Probably dropped by the Knights Templers. Should get some real bids dog!! That show is on its 10th season and that looks like what they find every week.

.... Come to think of it there was something a little strange in the bottom of that bucket... let me see if I can attach a photo of it...

I'll bet half the people who shop at Amazon wouldn't have any idea of where to even begin restoring that abomination.
But, the finished product will tell for sure!

Yep M.M. I like cleaning old knives and tools. I think about how this item was useful to someone in the past and how it can be useful to somebody in the future...

Here is the tub with the tools that were in the inside bucket that the knife was in, after soaking under a few gallons of vinegar... that foam is the chemical reaction of the rust "blowing off" so to speak...
