Ruana knife?

Post by gsmith7158 »

I got a query from a friend as to what she should sell this knife for. I've never owned a Ruana and wouldn't know what their value is or even if it's real. The picture is not great but I thought I would check with you guys and see if anyone might have some info.

Not my bailiwick, but that doesn’t look like any Rusna knife I’ve ever seen or read about.

It’s been etched with a vibration pen.

Not sure Ruana did that.

Thanks Gary! I'll send that info along to her. Her husband died recently from complications due to hepatitus b and she is selling all his things. I think she's been listing some of the items on ebay. I'll find out what her ebay id is.

Well I see this knife is up for sale on ebay now. My sister's freind apparently didn't take my advice to start the listing at $400 and let the knife move to it's market value. She started it at $1195.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Intered in seeing how this sale goes, thanks.
