Today's pocket carry will be a Case with Maple scales.

The Spring Shepherd Hills Cutlery catalog arrived the other day and I spotted a couple Large Stockman knives that are calling me. It is time to see how much change is in the change can!

Three days in a row for this one. Can't put it down. Hard to catch the deep rich color on the pile side and the clouds continuously blocking or dimming the sun isn't helping.
Those scales get a 10 in my book. Outstanding.

Many thanks, appreciate that. Don't know if it would win any beauty contests up against a dozen other knives, but then again I was just thinking this one looks pretty good but is not photogenic. In person the color is deep burgundy, root beer browns, oatmeals with layers down into the bone. In pics it's very flat and one dimensional, not capturing what I'm seeing. Anywho, thanks I appreciate it and have another pic or two on me. Five days straight. Love this knife. Getting some color. Not the only thing I carried for five days, I had a spear a couple times with it. But this one has been constant companion since then. Love it Q. Thanks again. ::tu::  ::groove::

Haha!! No sir!! You open it by the nail nick. It's the closing portion where you pull the ring which unlocks the pin by pulling the back strap up, which allows you to close the knife. :)

Love that knife R&T, and the pic of it laying on the table closed with the apple and the cup and lake is excellent. Feels like being there. ::tu::
