Well finally got a little “ G dog “ luck . Grabbed up this little 91 from the bay and the # 10 from a members store . The Tip Top Barlow is a big addition to the private collection. They’re getting harder to find especially so in the short line stamp. Got them oiled up and will find them a spot in the short line tray. The 91 looks to have 2 mains with both having the short line on the main side and 91 on the pile . Can’t find this one in the catalogs! The shield and handle don’t kook Camillus to me but the knife doesn’t appear tampered with .
Take care out there .

I love that Tip-Top Barlow! I replaced the blades in one that was an old 4-line, and it stays in my EDC rotation more than any other knife I own. Yours is nicer since it is original!Ripster wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 2:18 pm Well finally got a little “ G dog “ luck . Grabbed up this little 91 from the bay and the # 10 from a members store . Thanks Dan,Skip, Rev andDoglegg for the comments.
Here’s one to ponder . This Serrated #1 was on the bay ,threw 20 bucks at it out of curiosity and it ended up here . The hawk bill ( pruner ) #1 and the Serrated #1 are same size everything . Different pins and covers . Did someone modify the one from a regular hawk bill ? It looks like the kick is ground way down but the serrated edge looks machined ? If this was done after it left the factory they did a decent job on it .
What say you fellas ? Could use some help on this one.
Thanks much .

The nail nick looks to be larger, farther forward, and at a different angle than the one on the hawkbill. It just may be a factory job, but I can't be at all certain. Will be interested to hear what the experts have to say. And have you posted that invoice in the ephemera forum? That would be great to see!

I finally got around at looking thru the other box of knives that I won at the estate auction I won two weeks ago I believe. Besides the 4 Russell Barlows, Had a Queen Winterbottom Imitation Toothpick,on the mark side the handle has to be replaced, also found this little short-line # 17
