Tornado Warnings

Post by jerryd6818 »

Thunder, lightening, gale force winds & tornado warnings. It's pretty nasty out there. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph. Sounds like it may be starting to abate. ::fc::

Wind and rain have died down, hopefully for good. Just a skosh spooky there for a little while. ::uc:: Sorry for the panic attack.

Hang in there Jerry! Sounds a lot like what we had here a few weeks ago, but along with the hail and tornadoes we had 60-80 mph straight line winds. ::woot:: Thankfully no one was injured - pray the same for you.

We had to go to the basement twice because the tornado sirens went off. Had one touchdown 10 miles north of here and one 15 miles east but no damage here. Just a lot of rain and some pea sized hail.

Glad it was nothing serious, Jerry. I know I'll be hearing the tornado warning alarm tomorrow; they test it the first Saturday of every month.

Over here they test the tsunami alarms on the first of every month at 12 noon. My dog (and all the dogs in the village) would howl right along with it like the devil's own hell-hound choir! It was pretty funny.

jerryd, just grab hold of your 72 and 07 collections, they should provide sufficient weight to keep you securely anchored if your roof blows off. ::mdm::

No tornados around me that I know of, but we sure have had the wind!
