John, you could throw in a Virginia AT Trail hike while you're in the area. One year I went to the show on a Saturday, hit a recommended German restaurant for dinner, got up early and skied half a day at Wintergreen and then went to a Nats baseball game. Just happened the snow was plentiful that year and the Nats had a home game scheduled. πŸ”ͺ🍻🎿⚾

Harrisonburg, VA, the Rockingham County Fairgrounds, right off of I-81. Let me know if you need anything else logistically. I think you would love the Old Rag hike, but it's about a 10 miler I believe.

That's a show I've never been to. I think my wife and I will make the drive this year and check it out. It's nice that it is a 3 day show. How big is it usually? Like 200-300 tables?

Normally, yes. And I hope it is a normal show. Ryan Daniels and his wife are usually there.

I just attend, buy, browse and chat. Ryan and Courtney usually have a couple tables.

I actually just spoke with Ryan today on the phone. I told him I plan on coming to the show and will be sure to talk to him and Courtney. I'm not sure which day I'm going, but it would be nice to introduce myself to you also if we are there the same day.

Yes he will be there. I had a job change and have just been bogged down with things over the past 6 months. Don't have as much free time or extra cash to travel like before. Hopefully 2024 works out better for me, as I really enjoy going to shows, talking with folks, and seeing what knives are out there.

Only picked up 5 knives today. ::sotb:: Great seeing Gene, Barry, Ryan and my ol' bud Guy. Guy was tempting me with a sweet Marble's fish knife, really had my mouth watering.

I'm sort of bummed I won't make it this year. It just didn't make the cut, as I wanted to try out some new shows I've never been to. I'm going to Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Little Valley, and my local Titusville show this year.
