Have a friend who is a reading teacher for middle school, and she has been wanting an Edgar Allen Poe carved for a while. I didn’t have any other projects going so I made this for her to give as a surprise.

Thank you. I’m glad he gave me talent because he left out the looks and charm lol. Like Red Green said, if the women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

A little rustic Cardinal. Doug Linker has a good video on YouTube showing how he carved one. I definitely have room for improvement but it's a fun time and I learned a few things.

I like it! Make sure and sign it somewhere and date it. Years from now you will be glad you did!
