I’ve got the old school tools out this morning with the Kurmaster stockman and the GEC 83.

I really want to thank Jerry D for sending this Imperial Trick knife to me in the POS exchange. I carried it to church today, and I had the most fun with it!
Before and after service, I would hand it to someone (most men there are used to me showing off pocket knives), and I would try to look innocent as they would struggle to open it. After a while I would have a group gather around, all of them grinning, as I showed it off to a new "sucker"!
It was the best fun that I've had in a while!

King of the page if you asked me QS. What a knife. Loooooooooooooooooooooove the covers. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!

Reverend, that's a sweet looking knife. Should have seen what I got in the POS. You scored and what a great story of watching them try to figure it out. Priceless. ::tu:: ::tu::

Thanks Iman. If I could move back to my working years I think I would have concentrated more on higher end folders.

Esee Izula, Klein Tools 44004, Western 445.

I have to admit, the Esee Izula without its belt clip is a much different knife, and very comfortable to carry even in sweats. It is MUCH thinner, and the screws and clip seemed to double the weight.

OK, I'll bring the Swiss.

The black Explorer is my every day, with the added round magnet, the eye glass screwdriver and the lanyard of survival cord.
(toothpick, tweezer and straight pin in hiding)
When out camping, I swap it for a Handyman model in Red, still has the magnet, but has tinder and a ferorod on the corkscrew, and the survivor cord lanyard (and yep, I can strike a fire in 30 seconds with it when asked to for entertainment). I'd usually carry a Mora or Buck or another fixed blade too when out in the wild.

I added something to look at thru the magnifying glass just for you guys.

Dan In MI wrote: Thu Mar 09, 2023 1:25 pm I dropped this one (the only markings on it are "Made in USA" and "Can Opener") into my pocket today. I can't decide if I should leave it as it is or try to remove the extensive darkening as best I can.
Dan, ::hmm:: maybe a holding the dark areas of the blade (or all of it) to a wire wheel on a grinder, that should clean up the blade a lot and not scratch it. The wire should polish and remove that dark oxidation. ::hmm::

A new pick-up: a B.S.A. Camillus #72 ::groove:: Always a good day when you find a new #72 and even better yet when it is a B.S.A. model! ::ds It has "LONG-LINE" TANG STAMP. This tang stamp was used by Camillus from 1960 to the late 1970s.

I am "flipping out" after seeing your Case Kinzua, ::skeptic:: I think Case has hit a "home-run" with these babies! A perfect size (for me) great steel and made in the USA! ::tu:: ::tu::
