Well postman said this box is full of swamp gas when he delivered it today, from centennialknives.... Thanks Robert for the care package. Allow the picture to tell the store.

a box with honing oil, and stones, and state stickers to hang on the back of my RV..(I dont have one BUT who knows when I may)...8 to 10 knives and a awesome Cigar box, But the most impressive item in the care package was the "C NOTE" Ben Franklin that fell out of his wallet into the box. And a wooden nickel. and two old double ended wrenches. A fine haul. And a Where The Heck is Wall Drug bumper sticker. And a apologetic heart felt letter, explaining he was glad to send me these treasures.

Welp I done got Philco’s pile headed north to him, I did message him with tracking and an apology to his bride!

When I got 1/2 way home my wife called about a smell coming from the end of the driveway, could I check the drainage ditch for a dead animal when I got home???? I know then that my package had arrived from Floyd (doglegg)! From the looks of it he’s an old pro at this game, my youngest and I had a big time going through the pile…..

Got a couple good ones in there, and my son has claimed the gas tank lighter!!! Yessir, doglegg did a fine job! And he got to the post office fast!

My favorite, switchblade of unknown origin, mostly works, the safety lock is iffy. Great as a desk toy and letter opener. Plus I collect switchblades & autos.

I saw the mailman sitting on the curb in front of my house. Said he just got swimmy headed all of a sudden. I retrieved the box and brought it in the house. My dog sniffed it.

I think she should recover. CluelessNick had put a lot into a small box.

a Winchester metal handle (not the knife that won the west), a metal handled printed China, one from the famous Paky Stan and a wood handled from China (hopefully not from the virus lab)

a little Chinese Schrade 12 OT (worth a lot as it is a limited edition)a Colonian off gassing, a USA and a 1 & 1/2 blade Frontier. I would comment on it but it is pointless.

a peanut , a Colonial Coca Cola advertising knife, another Chi-com and a lever release INOX (famous maker) advertising for Senior Rdo. De Albacete (de espana por segudo)

a Schrade Walden USA 880 (a wonderful edc but with some serious blade rub issues)a really knice Klien Tools stockman and a very knice edc Frontier stockman. In the last photo a ring lock Opniel all the way from France. I didn't have one so very excited about it and one that had no business being in the box, a Jeffin rehandled Camillus #31 fish knife!!! Definitely not a POS candidate. From trash to treasure, thanks a ton Nick.

Got a couple good ones in there, and my son has claimed the gas tank lighter!!! Yessir, doglegg did a fine job! And he got to the post office fast!

Glad it got there and away from here Jody. I thought I had included a GEC, OH well, must have forgotten to put it in. And I see I forgot the Tested Case as well. Darn it, I am getting so forgetful.

I wasn't sure about the auto, but glad that I dropped it in. I looked through your posts to see what your favorite were, and it was mostly "First Cup Diner" posts!
That "level 5" knife was a Camillus that I found in an antique store. All the blades are worn out, as well as the deteriorated handles. I bought it last year just for the POS exchange!

And finally, an Imperial cattle knife in excellent condition.

I have two solid-bolster Imperials (plus at least a dozen shell-handle ones), but they are very well-used. They also have ugly Bakelite handles. This is my first nice solid-bolster Imperial, and it has Rogers bone handles. The quality is much improved over the fairly cheap feeling punch-blade Stockman and Scout pattern that I've got.

This one is going in the display case for sure.

A heavy load (almost 8 lbs) of POS arrived yesterday and my 2 dogs won't leave it alone. It's going to take weeks to sort thru this with one hand while I hold my nose shut with the other. There actually there's a great assortment and some goodies in here and I do love fixer-uppers. I can't wait to get to work on the big Challenge Cutlery folder in the last 2 pictures. Thank you Beresman!

I received my package yesterday from KLJ77.
There was a little sewage in it but also a couple of nice ones.
A mint Colonial that appears it might still have the original oil.
And a superb Camillus made Remington Bullet. The etch is perfect, I don't know why it looks this way in the picture. Thank you my knife friend.
Ps. He even included a nice poem. Much more talented than I.

My first impression was that we need to email him the instructions again - it looked like Jerry only sent good knives!

I thought that this Utica might qualify as a POS knife, but it turns out to be perfectly good with alligator snap! The handles appear to be plastic, not celluloid. Very pocketworthy!

Craftsman 9470 Stockman

I have started collecting Craftsman knives! The main is a little lazy, and it has seen some use, but the size and Stockman pattern puts it right in my wheelhouse!
(And in my pocket!)

Imperial trick knife

Then I thought we had a blade rusted shut, but it turns out to be an Imperial Trick knife! I have wanted one of these! It took a bit to figure out, but works like a champ!

POS knives!

Then finally I found the POS knives in the box. A Camillus 53 with a worn pen, a Camillus 72 with a tipped and worn main, and an outgassing '92 Winchester Doctor's knife. These are all 3 very fixable, and right up my alley!

Thus proving that Jerry D not only knows how to play the game, but also proving that he is a great and generous guy.

Nice pile, those space shuttle land shark knives are cool!

Tom (bestgear) sent me a diverse group of knives. The Coca Cola knife is stamped USA.
The fancy silver handled gentleman’s knife is in very good condition, made by Olsson from Sweden.
The knife in the leather sleeve is German with the whale tang stamp.
The group with the modern Browning knife is Chinese. The lipstick knife is the first I’ve seen. I like the twist mechanism to raise the blade.
The little switch blade with picklock is under three inches total length, tang stamped inox. It fires but not enough to lockout.

The Queen was a duplicate that I had forgotten I'd already bought. It's a nifty little feller.

you may have noticed by now that the blade on the MTech won't lock open. That's the reason it qualifies as a POS. I'm sure you can fix that. I didn't feel like fooling with it.

So the Imperial is a trick knife. I had forgotten that and that's the reason I couldn't get the blade open. I'm such a DA.

Enjoy your load. It was all I had to send.
