Well, I didn't send send 5 lbs worth --- and I sure didn't opt for extra insurance! But I did throw a few things in that might make ya laugh -- or scratch your head.

I am getting ready to ship you a wooden crate full of POS knives. I will need to call the shipping company and have them send a truck. Shown with my '73 Winchester for scale. You may need to have a forklift there to unload it.

I might need new glasses -- 'cause I would have sworn that a '73 Winchester was larger than that! Dimensions seem off! Well, good thing I live outside town in the county -- plenty of room for a big rig!

I finally found a trucker who would haul the "crate of POS knives". He showed up and took it away for which I was most grateful. Be on the lookout for this delivery truck coming down your street with the crate. PM sent with tracking info.

Awesome! Our septic tank needs a good cleaning --- so after he drops off the knife crate, he can take a load with him!!! Love it !!!!!

Got my group in from bladebuddy this morning.

However, I think he took the quality, not quantity approach. There are a lot of nice knives in this group, and hardly any actual "POS" knives.

Made in Japan auto, doesn't fire.

Chinese-made auto. Functions perfectly fine.

Ranger Stockman. Heat damage, and broken pen blade backspring.

Now on to the most definitely not POS knives.

No markings on this little guy, but it's very well put together.

Trojan Seeds Advertiser, made in Japan. I wish more manufacturers would make this pattern--you have this one, and then the Rough Ryder Reserve Common Stock (which is full-size), and that's it.

Cracked front scale, back one may be outgassing.

Imperial Diamond Edge #856DE Fisherman. I think this is the first fully intact, decent fish knife I own.

Western #445 Small Stockman. Definitely going to see a lot of use.

Case 1977 5233SSP pen, stag handles. I think this is from the Blue Scroll series? Factory second, I guess because of poorly crinked blades (which occasionally hit each other when closing). Going straight in the display case. It is a beautiful knife with great stag.

And finally, an Imperial cattle knife in excellent condition.

I have two solid-bolster Imperials (plus at least a dozen shell-handle ones), but they are very well-used. They also have ugly Bakelite handles. This is my first nice solid-bolster Imperial, and it has Rogers bone handles. The quality is much improved over the fairly cheap feeling punch-blade Stockman and Scout pattern that I've got.

This one is going in the display case for sure.

Nice group of POS, errrr....quality knives Cody. A couple of very nice ones. Just know that; one man's POS is another man's treasure. Bladebuddy may have just wanted you to have something nice. That's what I like to do. All part of the game...well, for me anyway.

Thankfully she is ok after the initial shock wore off.
