Not sure whether to post in this thread or fixed blade thread but I guess I might do both eventually. This is a knife set I made a few years back with stabilized raspberry box elder burl wood and polished Damascus. Made the set for my wife who likes pink and this was about the closest I could get to that at the time.

Thank you j.o. I’m not a guild member and never really tried to sell any of them. Just a hobby I have. I posted some other knives on the show your fixed blade forum also.

Thanks Cudgee & J.O. I’m glad you liked em! I’m hoping to be back in the shop soon because I have a lot more ideas I want to make. Some traditional and some off the wall designs.

I'm a bit late getting around to thanking you fellows for the compliments . TBH, I kind of forgot about this thread until getting this 2002 S&M #51T Mini Trapper with Osage Orange Wood handle. Nothing too fancy, but it happened to be on a pattern I collect, so naturally, I got it. I'd seen this type of wood on other knives previously and was never all that impressed. I guess it's one of those woods that just looks better in person. ::hmm::

Although it appears fairly plain in my photos, it does have a nice grain with contrasting striations that can be seen better when examined under a magnifying glass.
