Blue Steel stamp

I am in need of assistance identifying the maker associated with the tang stamp Blue Steel

Not sure who made them but they appear to be Japanese manufactured.

As to your question, the "Blue Steel" stamp was used by numerous different knife makers, according to Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings. Here's the list.

If your knife has any of the 'other' stamps indicated, then you'll be able to narrow down your knives to the maker. Personally, your knives look to have that "Kinfolks" look to them. imho.

The sheaths, grind lines and handle construction of these knives point to the fact that they are definitely not the product of any American knife company. A lesser quality import brand, likely from the 1950's or later.

I agree with Wayne here. Both these knives look newer than any of the shown makers from Goins and Kinfolks never made a knife with a pommel like the smaller one or a blade profile like the larger one. Both knives look like they came from overseas.

I thought maybe Edge Brand, but all of their pattern numbers are in the 400's.
