Last Call!
I have addresses for the following members. If you aren't on this list, PM me with your information ASAP.
I plan to send out the matches and addresses tomorrow, but I have a long, busy work day and an appointment at night too, so it won’t be until late, or even Tuesday. Because of that, in my gracious generosity, I have extended the shipping deadline until Monday the 13th. Please, no applause for my kindness.

Re: 2023 POS Exchange
My POS donation is boxed & ready for an address.
Looks like there is a trip to the Post Office on the agenda for tomorrow.

Re: 2023 POS Exchange
I know in the past that the POS exchange coordinator was either in-or-out of the exchange based on whether we had an even or odd number of participants. I'd be willing to pass my participation to you if you had an odd number of participants so that you could enjoy the fruits of your own labor!

Re: 2023 POS Exchange
Tom, it doesn't have to be an even number. Just write down the list of participants, make another list, cut the second list into individual names, fold them up, draw them from the proverbial hat as you go down the list. Voila! It comes out even Steven.bestgear wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 3:07 pmI know in the past that the POS exchange coordinator was either in-or-out of the exchange based on whether we had an even or odd number of participants. I see said the blind man..........for example.......#1 gets #25, then #2 gets #24, then #3 gets #23, then #4 gets #22, then #5 gets #21, then #6 gets #20, then #7 gets #19, then #8 gets #18, then #9 gets #17, then #10 gets #16, then #11 gets #15, then #12 gets #14, then #13 gets #13, then #14 gets #12, then #15 gets #11, then #16 gets #10, then #17 gets #9, then #18 gets #8, then #19 gets #7, then #20 gets #6, then #21 gets #5, then #22 gets #4, then #23 gets #3, then #24 gets #2, then #25 gets #1
...or simply...#1 gets #3, then #2 gets #1, then #3 gets #2
Thanks for getting my head clear on that Jerry!

Re: 2023 POS Exchange
OK, Finally here are the results. PMs with addressed to go out shortly. Since I kept last year's results, I made sure you wouldn't ship to the same person this year. I'll keep track going forward, if I fail to find my sanity and keep doing this.

Re: 2023 POS Exchange
I think I sent them all out. If you notice any errors, like I sent you your own address or didn't get a message, contact me ASAP.
I nominate JameinWV for the coolest address, Blue Lick Rd, though philco on Stingy Creek and ken98k in North Pole are close.

Re: 2023 POS Exchange
Boji,
I have a package of POS knives all bagged up and ready to mail off tomorrow.
The package is hermetically sealed to prevent any Postal workers from passing out from the smell!
I hope that we are still on speaking terms after this.

Re: 2023 POS Exchange
Stinky Creek is definitely a winner and very appropriate since this is it POS Exchange. Hopefully philco isn't up stinky Creek without a respirator!
I like roads with strange names. I guess it stands to reason since I grew up on Dead Indian Road. Since I left there in 1969, the Woke Folk have taken over most of the western part of Oregon, from the Cascade Mountains to the coast and of course they couldn't abide the name Dead Indian Road, so they changed it.
It is now called Dead Indian Memorial Highway.
I can't see there's much difference except they stuck the word memorial in there and I guess it's okay then in their minds.
I think some folks must have a moral compass that spins constantly, as fast as the hands on stopwatch!

I am getting ready to ship you a wooden crate full of POS knives. I will need to call the shipping company and have them send a truck. Shown with my '73 Winchester for scale. You may need to have a forklift there to unload it.

I might need new glasses -- 'cause I would have sworn that a '73 Winchester was larger than that! Dimensions seem off! Well, good thing I live outside town in the county -- plenty of room for a big rig!OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 3:30 pmI am getting ready to ship you a wooden crate full of POS knives.
