New Queen cutlery knife!!

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

If your knife measures 4.5", I believe it's a model 28 (if it has 2 blades).
The model 23 is a Barlow.

Alien883,
After looking at your knife and reading Bruno's response, I believe it to be a #38. Seeing it on your thigh made me think it was a big knife. If it is 5 1/4" closed with one blade, it is a #38. The #39 has 2 blades and a different shaped rear bolster.
Here might be the brother to yours:
This one has a sideways "Q", indicating a '51-'54 date of mfg.

Treefarmer is correct. It's a #38. The pattern is a swell center.
My memory is getting rusty since I don't collect anymore (but I still love 'em ::tu:: )

Just curious...What's the difference between a #38 and a #83? ::shrug::

Here's a 1991 #83 that I used to own (sold it)

Your #83 is a Schatt & Morgan. The #38 is a Queen. Both use the copperhead bolster design and a swell center. Basically the same knife.
