Re: Ring Openers
Hello, it's been pretty quiet 'ring turn collecting' these days. Finally, something I haven't seen before popped up online. It is coming from Japan. Magnetic Cutlery Co. Germany
c. 1900-1932 D. Perez Soligen
Germany
Made in Germany and imported to Pennsylvania USA. A very rare figural knife. The blades are stained dark from age and the main blade has a tiny chip near the tip but is in overall great shape. Not sure how it ended up in Japan? But ill happily take it! As well, I have been playing with my baby Glock... That is my Glock 26 G3. I know, not a firearms sight. But, I bet 99% of knife guys love firearms as well. Anyhow, I've kept the insides pretty much OEM FOR SAFETY SAKE AND FUNCTION. Just changed the trigger bar to a Ghost 3.5 lbs and a 25-cent polish job throughout. I have a 'range version' (toy) And I have a pretty much stock HD version. I hope you are all healthy and fricking happy! Cheers

Re: Ring Openers
Glad you found a new ring turn for your horde. And I like your glock as well. I had one of those triggers on the one I had. Worth it. And good to hear from you.bronze4u wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 7:13 pm Hello, it's been pretty quiet 'ring turn collecting' these days. Finally, something I haven't seen before popped up online. Re: Ring Openers
Thanks!
Definitely a ‘horde’
This Stykout trigger shoe and the 3.5 trigger bar made for a much better break and reset.

Re: Ring Openers
Nice find! In my 3-4 years of collecting knives I have only managed to score one ring turn knife & my mom talked me out of it so it's now in MD.

Sweet looking Glock too!

Re: Ring Openers
Nice! I’d like seeing that. I have a much smaller collection of lever ended’ knives.

Re: Ring Openers
Cool find!
Looks like it would sit or lay in an upright position while resting on those 2 bails.

Re: Ring Openers
Took some pics of my latest find. It arrived in just 3-4 days from Tokyo. I sharpened out most of the blade chip.
