I just have room for the two remaining knives that are inbound “in the mail” and one that will be returning from Case repair shop. No more purchases planned this year…

I can reach all 100+ of these USA-made knives with a patriotic/Americana theme… while at my desk working. It’s a good setup to be able to get them down, wipe them off, examine and (re)admire them… aka just fiddle with them.

I don't have a display wall. It's not a practical consideration when one has cats. Yours sure looks good, though!

Good point! If any fall, the cats would not be happy! Ouch…!
Our old cat sits next to me while I work… so I can pet her (not pictured… on a small table on a padded blanket next to the right of my office chair)
She doesn’t jump much anymore… I have “stairs” (boxes and a stool) just so she can climb up to the small table she sits on… poor old gal has aged…

Re: What’s your display wall look like?
Jim that all looks great. I see my wood burning hanging there, I really like how you displayed it.
There is nothing on one wall in my office and just this morning we repaired old nail holes and painted.
Looking at your wall gives me a couple of ideas to get more of my knives out of the storage drawers
and on display.
Don't ever say no more knife purchases. If I was to say that, lightening would Strick me where I stand
even on a clear day.

That is a great looking display, really impressive- like a knife museum. Gives me inspiration to get all my knives out of the; vault, safe, gun safe, garage, tool boxes, drawers, car, pockets....

Thanks Jim, I built that cabinet in place, it's bigger than the doors to the room, but what I still like is that Outfitters poster, I framed that with some old and grayed cedar fencing I had out in the weather and a sheet of plexiglass from the garage, and of course hung it with fishin tackle.MadeinUSA wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 8:06 pmLooks great! So so awesome to see all these!
I’m surprised I haven’t seen someone who has a ‘rotating display’ (like you see in stores for sunglasses)
Hey… that’s a cool idea!

Re: What’s your display wall look like?
This is a great post -- love the displays. I don't have anything elaborate or hanging ... just display cases, of which I can show a few at a time, as house is small. Got a 30x30 garage to do what I want with ... but then, I like them in the house where it's warm!
Bottom line -- THANK YOU for some ideas on showing off and displaying collections!

Re: What’s your display wall look like?
That might be a good option for me. How are the knives secured in there?
My local Tractor Supply stores have their knives displayed in counter-top rotating cases. I'd like to have one on my coffee table, but I'm not sure how well that idea would go over.
Y'all have some downright impressive displays. I know it's a sin, but I'm at least a little envious!

I sure admire the ones you folks have posted on here. At the moment I don't have one after taking down all the Christmas decorations.
I'm still studying the project for possible ideas that would be suitable for this wall.
