Electrician/Lineman Knife, but which one?

I have several Camillus Electrician/Lineman Knives and most are NOT marked #27

Military application. Until 1954 it was the TL-29 specification, since 1954 the MIL-K-13419 (SigC) specification.
My corps de ballet (all Camillus, all military)

Very nice set ! Nice original pieces Did they have a green canvas pouch for the TE - 33 tool kit ? It seems they had one that “ hung “on the web gear belt .

Thank you Sir . That’s the one . Had heard they had better luck we these not rotting in a damp environment like the leather did .

I definitely believe that it lasted longer in wet environments. It looks like canvas but the body is very hard, i think they dipped it in fiberglass resin. The flap is slightly more flexible, but still impregnated with something. Very difficult to get the tools in their spots. Definitely jungle proof.

It’s been said by more than one collector that the Canvas was a Vietnam era thing but Mr. Silvey has stated something different in his book .

It makes sense. A lot of ww2 stuff was still being used in the VN era.
