Over the past many years, I have called upon my wife to help many aapk members with knife related translation questions. Once again I called upon her for assistance. She is always happy to help, and it gets her involved in our wonderful hobby.
My wife is Vietnamese/Chinese. She worked at the U.S. Embassy in New York with connection to: The Consulate General of The People's Republic of China in New York. She was a translator/transcriber for the U.S. Government for many years.

The texts on your knife is a long-standing ancient Chinese text, no longer used. It was most likely a "Family name" perhaps inscribed as a gift to a family member? Therefore, the texts used on your knife predates your knife and is much older than the knife itself.

She has no English translation for these text's on your knife, however, she will consult with some of her friends and past co-workers to see if they can assist with an English translation. If and when any new information is received, I'll post and let you know.

Many Chinese text and characters change over time, they go back to over two thousand years, therefore, current translations can be a big challenge.

I noticed that you have what appears to be a small pocket size knife board sharpener placed next to your knife in question?
I have a simular knife board, (pictured below) it has a cork front with an abrasive texture. English made.
It measures: 23 1/2" tall X 5 5/8" wide. I assume this originally hung on a wall within a English restaurant or butcher shop?
As always, all other opinions are welcome on this Knife board.

I am impressed with her credentials and really appreciate her taking a look at this and trying to solve the mystery

Just to clear a few things up, it's not a knife, it's a multi bladed saw. It measures 11 1/4" long closed the blades are not very thick and for the size of it, it does not weigh very much even though it was not meant to be carried in the pocket. I posted additional pictures below.

The other item in the photo could be used to sharpen a pocket knife, but it looks like a razor hone. Homemade, basically a piece of leather, looks like an old belt, nailed to two pieces of wood. It came with the saw when I bought it.

Thanks for posting full pictures and size. Those saw blades remind me of some of my saw bladed Victorinox knives.
