pocket knife repair

Post by Sivart »

Greetings!

I'm looking for a pocket knife mechanic to replace scales on a Remington whittler, I would supply the handle material. Also have a Remington muskrat that I would like to put back together if I can find it. Also have a Remington barlow that I have a blade and would hope to get fitted and add scales to it.

Can you fine people recommend a good repair person?

Thanks in advance!

You might get a better response if you post your questions in the "Knife repair and restoration" forum, which can be found on the homepage down toward the bottom. Good luck! 8)

Your best way to get a repair done is go to the Knife Repair and Restoration sub-forum here, and look at some of the work shown in posts there. https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... m.php?f=37 Then pick a couple of those people whose work you like and send them a PM or an email. Most of them have plenty of work and a waiting list. If you wait for someone to contact you in response to your post you might have a long wait.
