You're killing it R&T! Great shots, great knives.

Carrying this lately, has a good edge out the box. Has cut all kinds of veggies, cord, nylon straps, cardboard, and some food. And I love the fuzzy, soft micarta. I have other ODG canvas micarta covers, but none of them have this fuzzy feel like this one. I love how Benchmade finished the micarta. And the joint is rock solid, good snap open, very soft closed but that's fine. Good knife.

Because I've always found your moniker "usually affable" to be clever, I'll tell you that I have sometimes wondered what in life might temporarily afflict your affability.

Having to do any work on the house is a big one. My house is 97 years old and seems to need two of everything. Repairs are often fraught with difficulty. And I'd have to wait another three years before receiving grants to help with the many needed repairs. It can be frustrating. Discourteous drivers also have an adverse effect on my affability.

Nice carries from everyone (I like that Henckels Congress!), and since the 27 was so well-liked, here's a photo of it in the "sunshine."

My son just gave me this February 2023 Buck of the Month. He got himself one too! It is great to share a knife passion with my son.

It's a 112 with copper scales, pocket clip, and black cerakoted S30V drop point blade with thumb studs. And it is wicked sharp.
