Gerber Paul

I discovered this Gerber Paul knife today in the collection I inherited from my father. I love it. Anyone have an idea of it's age? 1980s? 1990s?

That is a nice knife. You're fortunate to have your fathers knife.

There is one in "Gerber legendary blades knife forum".

I believe yours is a 1st model. It has the small adjusting screw that sets the blade stop. Because it kept falling out if you turned it, they eliminated it on the 2nd model.
. Look inside the blade well & you should see the number 1.

Very nice to have the box with that one. I have an ivory micarta handled one, but not box. Levine says these were made between 1977 and 1986.

That's a beauty, Knut. Love the ivory micarta scales.
