Trying to work in some of my older EDCs. Would you know (or anyone out there) about how old my Waterville Cutlery Co knife is? It is a little rough, but the blades are still tight, but no snap.

I believe Waterville made knives from 1847 to 1913. There is a Waterville thread under knife lore that may help you pin the date down a little closer. Nice old knife!!

I am 80 years and have been collecting for many years. I get to go home tomorrow after a month in the hospital, so I don’t care what I carry as long as it is a knife. Can’t wait.

Oddly enough, both of the blades that bit me were sheepsfoot types. Hope that Trapper didn't do any serious damage!

Looks like one I was watching on the bay, its scales were bone and described as wash board jig.
