I Love Buffalo Trace! (and Case!) I used to drink it back when I could afford it. Now I am drinking something more in line with my "Biden-budget"

In the Fall of '64 we went to Spain on Operation Steelpike. Floated over and floated back. The rumor was they had brought along a ship's hold full of National Bohemian beer. It's what we had so we drank it. (Troops will drink anything when it's free)

Looked it up and they're still making it. According to Wiki....... "The beer is currently brewed under contract at the Molson Coors brewing facilities in Albany, Georgia and Trenton, Ohio; and is also owned by Pabst Brewing Company."

Thunderbird was the worst thing ever called wine!
Years ago I knew a guy that drank so much of it that everybody called Tbird and they didn’t mean the car.
For the price Boones Farm at least tasted half way decent.

You are correct Redrider . National beer was brewed in Baltimore Maryland. Founded in 1885 closed in the 90's.My dad had a friend who worked for National brewing company. He would give my father and his 7 brothers a good price on National. So I grew up on it. All I ever got from it was a good headache. I can still remember the advertising slogan. From the land of pleasant living we bring you national beer. Man I am getting old.

...I guess that would only be good if you broke your phone/flashlight and were lost in a cave... outside of that probably NOT a good scenario

LOL... Got that right, we might have a flashlight, but no phone and a pager doesn't count. But it might work when you are catfishing off the banks of a lake...still not the best idea, that stuff won't make you see double ... It's more like quadruples

I never got into the Jaeger but have some dim memories of Colt 45. Anyone else ever have Gluek Stite(Sp?). Malt liquor like Colt 45 but I preferred it. Came in little 6 or 8 oz cans, was pretty easy to slam one of those down!
