A German Made Browning Knife with integrated fire steel?

Post by swizzarmygrizz »

So I am gearing up to do a video on this knife and am struggling to find any information. What I know is it as Huntsman style camp knife that was made in Germany under the branding of Browning. It is unique in having a fire steel in lieu of a corkscrew. Hobie did a video on one but I don’t recall him saying who made it. I have a few suspects based on vague similarities but nothing else. ::dang:: ::hmm::

Even if I don’t find out who made it or when, although I suspect in the 2000s when firesteels were becoming a popular knife accessory. It’s a beautiful piece of work regardless.

Thanks I do too. I always used Browning Bows back in my hunting days so it suits me well but unfortunately it arrived and one of the springs was busted!

Anyway the seller was gracious and refunded most of what I paid and I already have another one on the line. I did find out it was available circa 2012 brand new for $129.95. I’m mainly just curious who made it for Browning? ::shrug::

So what you are saying is someone sold you a knife that you received, and it had a broken spring but they did not give you a complete refund? The seller should be called out as a scammer. There is no way I would describe that seller as "gracious".
