Don't know if it is a Camillus or some other maker? ::shrug:: 002.JPG001.JPG

Nice score treefarmer! ::nod:: ::tu:: I've been wading around the shallow end on the other side of the bay myself. Got my eyes on a little Jack knife right now but we shall see if I get over bid. Who knows? ::shrug::

That is a reflection, lol.. I thought the same thing when I looked at the photo what the hell is the apple logo on here for. My bad picture taking also. There is nothing on the knife...

I think it’s his apple iPad or iPhone reflecting in the bolster

Sharpnshinyknives wrote: Sat Feb 04, 2023 12:49 am I got a nice gift today from my friend Ali at Eight Knives. This is a beauty. The handles are a purple marble resin that is simply beautiful. The blade has some very nice file work that has been smoothed and looks and feels great. Here is Ali’s description "Custom Made Bird's Head Bolster Knife which is 100% handmade.
Nice filework on the blade,
Steel Liners and Nickle Silver bolsters.
Beautiful chip and crack free resin handles,
The material of the blade is a Hammer Forged high Carbon Steel (SAE 5160) with very high tensile strength which make the knife much strong to cut hard woods like Bamboo.
This handmade knife was made by master "Ali Alikhani" one of the famous knife masters in Iran."

Strong half stops and very nice snap. Love the birds head bolster.
Thank you Ali.
Very nice SSK! Love the shape and handles!

Got it from Gilbert Cooper, look interesting so I made an offer and it was accepted. I'm guessing it was hand made by ole paki stan. Pretty. Neat little trapper for the price. ::woot::
Could there be a connection with these guys?

Buying one myself. Saw Gilbert had commented on a Bluegrass thread, so hopefully I can learn more about this as I’m picking it up for sentimental reasons.

Thanks Marco! yeah, been doin' the house hunting thing. Haven't been on the forums as much. This is the first new knife I've gotten in a while. I do have one other my wife got me for Christmas that I need to photograph. Other than that, it's been a bit slow on the knife front for me. thanks for askin' though. Hope you're well! ::tu::
