The Cinnamon bone half hawk just became available.
I also got the tortoise shell half hawk.
They're both single blade which I prefer.
Should be here in a few days. ::tu::

Tim, you're a baaad influence. Half Hawk & Cinnamon Bone, how could I resist (I couldn't). Maybe SMKW will ship it today. ::fc::

I've wanted a Sub-Hilt fixed blade for eons so while my trigger finger was twitching I hammered down on an MTech. I've had good luck with their folders so I grabbed one of these. So now the big mystery. Will they both come on the same day or will it be staggered? Who knows? The Shadow do.

PS ------ The postal system has not received either item but both items have tracking numbers. One is coming from VIRGINIA BEACH, VA the other from DANDRIDGE, TN. The race is on. ::ds::

Seller's picture of course.

These are the first two knives I've bought in about six months.
So far it's my favorite pattern they've produced.

Two really nice knives Tim, congratulations. Your choice of cover materials couldn't be better. Like yourself, I too am a 1 blade guy, and that certainly helps make your new knives much more attractive. Enjoy! 8)

I've also had good luck with MTech folders Jerry, but I've not seen or handled any of their fixed blades. The one you chose looks solid, please let us know what you think once it arrives. 8)

I've quit ordering from SMKW for some time because I've had nothing but trouble with their shipping.
There's a dealer on eBay that I've bought from for years.
They are one or two dollars more expensive but he offers free shipping and he ships the same day when order is placed.
He also gives a 5% discount if I order 2 or more items.

I've had very good luck with them recently. Good packaging jobs and arrival two days after placing the order. Sorry to hear your experience has been the opposite.

If I ordered an item from them that required USPS shipping it would be delivered on time, but I can just about forget it being delivered on time or at all if FedEx is used. Maybe the problem is with FedEx and not SMKW. ::shrug::
