Also have a stamp that I am not able to ID. It is an aluminum re handled Case bowie. The handle has a stamp of a guy laid out alssep with both arms held out. Here are some pictures. Thanks

The knife has apparently been modified - it’s not factory. You probably knew that already. Aluminum handle affixed to a Case blade. Never have seen the stamp on the handle before, might be a homemade job. 
May be a handle from one maker mated to the blade from Case. 
May take a while but someone who knows may come along and enlighten us.
