Another salvage job

Post by prober996 »

I found this knife in a my late father's "to be repaired" box. Is this salvageable? It seems to be assembled backward to me, and the blade seems to be locked in place, as shown. Is the the loose part I have shown actually a part of this knife? This appears to one of my father's Frankenstein projects! Any ideas on this?

your missing the backspring/spring , the bottom pic with backspring that backspring does not go to that knife .
the knife is repairable but will need a backspring and a spring to make it work.

Thanks F1. I will do a more thorough search through the parts bin to see if I can locate the missing parts.
