Buck knife ID
Hello, I’m trying to track down a buck knife. I was young last time I saw the knife, but I remember it being a big 2 blade folding knife, the handle seemed black or dark brown, and it had an oval “window” with a green felt background and a silver running buck. I’m guessing the knife was probably manufactured in the late 70s or 80s. My dad lost his years ago cleaning a deer and I’d like to replace it, but I’m having little luck finding it on the internet. A little help with a model may help.
Thanks

Maybe the 5 and 1/4 inch closed length Buck Folding Hunter 317?

Sure it wasn't a Camillus? The "Buck" label gets thrown around a lot when it comes to hunting knives. Hope this helps.

You got it, it absolutely is the Camillus American Wildlife.

Re: Buck knife ID
Glad I was able to help and I like the looks of that knife.
Might have to find one for myself with the blue shield . . .
